there are rainbow lorikeets on the south side too - Farrer Ridge, Wanniassa Hills and Callum Brae all have rainbow lorikeets regularly, and they venture into the nearby suburbs - I've had them in my GBS site (in Wanniassa) the past couple of days (2-4 birds) for short periods, and have had up to six in the past. They seem attracted by the large eucalypts adjacent to Wanniassa Hills Primary School. I noted one peering out of a hollow at Callum Brae a month or so ago, and have seen same at Farrer Ridge
