We recorded a male as well as a female Spotted Quail-thrush near each other about 100 m below the summit of Mt Tennent today. The area has both sections burned in 2003 and areas not burned in 2003. The quail-thrush were in the unburned area.

We saw 9 Red Wattlebirds moving through around a third of the way up the slope. A White-throated Gerygone and several Brown Quail were near the Entry Station dam.

In all, 36 species with large numbers of small brown bush birds in the regrowth shrubbery, particularly on the lower slopes.
