Trish,
They've been singing their
hearts out for the past couple of weeks around my place in
south-west Kambah.
One in particular has been
including some interesting/weird variations and also some
mimicry, including Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo which we
don't really get (or hear) in the immediate area.

Hi all,
It's been great seeing and hearing more birds around with the
arrival of spring weather. However, I always feel it is really
spring when I hear blackbirds calling in the early morning. So
far, I haven't heard them at all.
It is too early? Is anyone else hearing them?
I know they are not one of 'ours' but I do love their sound.
Just curious,
Trish (Garran)
