Thanks, Philip - interesting that they can breed almost any time.

I should probably have added that they were perched about 1m from last years nest, which is still in existence. In fact, I took a picture of that nest today so that it will be possible to discern if its being refurbished on future visits. Here's the picture ... yesterday they were perched just out of sight on the LHS.
