Yesterday I saw a HUGE flock of Starlings swirling every which way as I drove down Mugga Lane towards the Monaro Highway.  Spectacular sight, but hard to guesstimate the numbers - probably well into the thousands.
 
Earlier in the day there was a pair of S C Cockatoos mating then inspecting hollows on Narrabundah Hill, while a pair of Eastern Rosellas were also inspecting different hollows in the same tree.
