The amiable Grey Currawong, much preferred by many to its widely disliked relative, pottering around the northern end of the bot gardens this morning, lifting and levering off pieces of bark in search of spiders.  One prey item was put down before a little vomit to remove some waste, then picked up and swallowed.  Not the sort of behaviour you would expect at the annual COG formal dinner.
