A dull cloudy morning with a little intermittent rain.

Most interesting:

5 + Varied Sitella – I have not seen these in the area before – working over dead branches maybe for rain drops? Not seen in flight.

A pair of Australian Kestrels guarding their tree and chasing each other near the tree (probably the same pair I saw copulating nearby during last visit)

1 Brown Quail on open ground and in flight – was with Superb Wrens.

23 Chuffs in one group flying from tree to tree

10 + Double-barred Finch in the company of Yellow-rumped Thornbills and Superb Wrens

20 plus Silvereyes in brilliant plumage feeding in Cootamundra Wattle

1 Brown Falcon flying over

1 Grey Fantail

More commonly:

Lots of Currawongs – wrens seemed to be hiding early am

Lots of Superb Wrens

Magpies

Sulphur Crested Cockatoos – large flocks across the fence in horse paddocks feeding on horse leavings

Common Miner – not too many

Starlings - quite a few

Red Wattle Bird – 2

Buff-rumped Thornbills

Yellow-rumped Thornbills

1 Brown Thornbill

Crimson Rosella - 2

Eastern Rosella – 2

3 Little Ravens (probably) – light voice and size

Wee Bills

Crested Pigeons

No Frogmouths to be seen.
