At around 10am a 45-minute watching brief on a Mixed Feeding Flock produced some surprises for Mt Rogers (surrounded by Belconnen's Spence, Melba, Fraser, Flynn)
15 species including Speckled Warblers (2), Double-barred finches (8), White-faced, White-eared and White-naped honeyeaters (at least three of the latter), pair of Scarlet robins and two kookaburras. One of these dived down for a mouse and ate it whole after some juggling to eat the head first.
