There have been quite a few GBS records of this species, occurring in 27 of the 29 processed years. As might be expected they tend to come from the suburbs with easy access from grasslands. Holt (44 observations) Kambah (39) and Chapman (25) are particularly 'popular' suburbs while in the more rural areas Crace (OK it isn't rural any longer, but it was when the GBS site operated there to have 32 observations) and Gundaroo (19) have contributed. The values of A(bundance - average number of birds per site/week) range from 0.0008 to 0.0119 with a typical value close to 0.005. In terms of F(requency - percentage of sites reporting the species) is typically around 5. The value of F has declined recently, possibly reflecting the take-up of many paddocks for McMansions.
