Hi Chris

We too have had currawongs with socks and pegs - this from 25 June 2009. It brought the sock and peg up into the Chinese elm in our back yard and dropped it onto the branch when I chased it off, but came back later and collected it. Don't know where it came from as it wasn't one of ours..... We get golf balls, and the other day a black squeaky dog toy, but the sock seemed unusual - but given your experience Chris, maybe not so!
