There have been a few sightings of unusually large flocks recently: Yellow-black Cockies and Magpie-larks spring to mind.  My contribution to this type of sighting was just having 34 Crimson Rosellas land in some willows just within my GBS site.  This is the 7th biggest flock reported on a GBS site.

They were hanging about over Whiskers Creek. in view of the weather here today I suspect they an official meet and greet party for the penguins which are expected to wade up from the Molonglo any time from now!
