Geoffrey, no need to apologise. 
 
I have really been enjoying the MFFs in my GBS site for the first year in many, and have found the different assemblages subscribers have been reporting fascinating.  Let’s hope this phenomenon continues for a while, though the signs last weekend were that the MFF in my garden had petered out.
 
MFFs are clearly something we have lots still to learn about, let’s hope that in the meantime we continue to observe and enjoy them.

Apologies to Jack and Damien.

 

I must take more care in addressing messages.  I copied my reply to the list, to which Jack’s had not gone, and have now confused Damien.

 

My own message was certainly not list-appropriate as it contained no less than 6 abbreviations viz (there I go again):

 

MFF

CBN

COG

ACT

WTC

GST

 

Not to mention org and au.

 

Incidentally Harry Recher has replied that he has never worked in Canberra, but has published on mixed feeding flocks.
