As the rain has started we have got a huge number of very large moths on our windows where they are illuminated from inside. Each pane is about 2.5sq m and has at least 10 moths.
So far we have had three assaults by the local Tawny Frogmouths. They seem to display great skill in hitting the window with their talons or beak to pick off their prey without joining us in the dryness and warmth! This has however attracted the attention of the small dog as well as ourselves!
