About 12.30 today from inside the house, I heard a very distinctive call, but one that I had not previously heard here in Macquarie. I immediately grabbed my binocs off the kitchen stool, and from the deck was delighted to watch a male Crescent HE in my neighbour's eucalypts, among a flock of Silvereyes. The Crescent called loudly for about 10 minutes before they all departed.
