I completely forgot the robins I had gone there to find and sat on the ground and allowed this pair of satin bowerbirds to entertain me for a full hour.  They put so much time and energy into their courtship, one wonders when they find time to eat.   I would have moved further back if I could have, but that was not possible.   I was actually so close to them I had trouble getting them both in a single frame together.  But then, they carried on for an hour, oblivious to my presence.
