No - not really - it related to a study done many many years ago by a
researcher into 'galah communication' using birds from the Mt Ainslie/Majura
western sides - I'd have
to find the details again if you really wanted to know more.
It is interesting to me that the bird is still around - when we lived in
Ainslie we got to feel quite protective of those who frequented our garden.
Tom Green used to be cross that people were allowed to use such permanent
markers for their test birds.
