I am at ANBG 4 days a week (usually not Thursdays) and although most of that time is not outside, I have been seeing or just hearing a group of YTBCs several times over the last about 6 weeks.

A male Black-Cockatoo on a Blackwood Acacia melanoxylon in the rain-forest gully.  It seems that this bird is not excavating for grubs but is attacking the pink sap layer, very effectively.
