Roger,

 

Your cuckoo is indeed a Fantailed Cuckoo getting very close to adult plumage – juveniles have heavy markings on the breast whereas the adult turns salmony-pink.

The cuckoo I think is a juvenile pallid cuckoo,photo taken at Jerrabomberra,but i would like a positive ID  please. I saw Scarlet robins at 3 different sites (Vanitys crossing,Jerrabomberra and Shepherds lookout)
