This morning, a cacophony in the park neighbouring my house here in Florey alerted me to the presence of something unusual. The noise turned out to be a posse of around 25 Pied Currawongs, supported by a dozen or so Red Wattlebirds, hounding one poor S. Boobook from tree to tree until it disappeared, with retinue, in a northerly direction. Not popular round here, those Boobooks...
