Wedge Tail very low over Red Hill last Friday middle of the day.
Small flocks of migrating Honey Eaters over Torrens over weekend.
Numbers of immature Satin Bower birds in our garden on the weekend and have had consistently for some years now. Often woken in the morning with the call. We had a consistent Bower next door and right through spring and summer consistent Bower Bird call. The male appeared very mature. I would have like to search carefully through all our neighbours gardens during December as I believe there could have been a nest near by. At Jervis Bay (Greenpatch) during early Jan this year I was lucky to see a female Bower Bird feeding its young. So secretive. The juvenile did not utter a sound.
Also lots of mixed feeding flocks over recent weeks.
