I spent some time at the Fyshwick Sewage Ponds and Kelly's Swamp today.  Compared to earlier in the year there were a lot of waterbirds around.

Notable sightings
  • Up to 8 darters on Kellys Swamp.  Very amusing watching them trying to perch on the barbed wire;
  • Little Eagle in beautiful plumage continually patrolling the whole area;
  • Several DY Australasian Grebes on ponds 4 and 6.
  • An immature MUSK DUCK on pond 3.
