G'day,

While participating in Clean Up Oz Day near Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club I flushed a lone Brown Quail from ankle length grass near the intersection of Gundaroo Rd and Gungahlin Dr. It was just behind the small fast food shed called the G Spot. The bird flew straight across the intersection, safely thank goodness. I guess with all the grass around that area it most have thought it was safe. It is the first quail I have seen around the lakes in Gungahlin.
