Dear Jenny
Thank you for your considerable part in helping to stop the proposed development of the woodland on the golf course lease.

In view of the fact that this is the fourth attempt by the golf club to put houses on that section of woodland I'm sure that they will try again when a new government is in power. They may be lucky next time and find a favourable minister or chief minister in the seat and get it through before effective opposition can be organised. Therefore I think it would be a good idea for COG and the other environmental groups to take steps to have the said piece of woodland added to the reserve.

This would alleviate the need to keep vigilent about future development proposals for that piece of woodland, which I'm sure will be tried and having to organise quick effective action again and again. It would also allow the Red Hill Regenerators to start removing the weeds on the site.
Cheers
Peter
