Based on what I've observed at the Pinnacle NR in Hawker this month, one
week is plenty of time. I saw the first of what would be 3 Leaden
Flycatcher chicks being fed on February 8th and saw all three being fed
on the 10th. On the 14th, the nest was empty but I managed to locate two
of the newly fledged chicks being fed in a nearby callitris.
Hope this helps,
John Brannan

****Margaret,
Please find attached a photo of the young Leaden Flycatcher on the
nest taken on 10 February, therefore a week before. I am not sure if,
in one week, they would mature enough to be flying around and the nest
was certainly empty this morning.
Others may have some thoughts and I do apologise about the quality of
the photo.
