Stubble Quail??

The other day I was cycling along the West Macgregor part of Ginninderra Creek, then continued along the Equestrian trail back to Parkwood Rd.  The grass was incredibly thick and high all along there.  I heard what I took to be Stubble Quail calls ALL the way along, in the range of 20-30 birds.  I saw one quail flush at a distance of about 50 metres.  Has anyone else been along there recently and seen or heard quail?

On an entirely different issue, there are two ACTEWAGL constructions of what I guessed might be electricity generators buring methane from the sewerage line.  Does anyone know about these contraptions?

Cheers

Paul
