Fair call and reasonable ask but I'd suggest the photo alone is not good enough to be sure it is a juvenile, nor if it is, that it was born nearby. Not that either is unlikely.
 
Having said that I wrote several messages about the successful Hobby nest in one of the big trees in the middle of Tuggeranong Parkway, Kambah, I think 2 years ago and don't think I put in a formal record of it.
 
I wonder why would there be a record of a Hobby nest building? They don't. They use other people's (oops birds') nests.

Will someone who has seen this bird PLEASE put in an incidental record for it. Having prepared the raptor entries for the annual bird report for some years now, I find it  dispiriting to see and read on this chat line about breeding events and juveniles which never make it to COG records. For 2009-10, for example, the only hobby breeding events recorded were nest building and “on”, with no outcomes. PLEASE people, help us save these valuable observations. If you don’t understand data recording, come and see me after the next COG meeting for a run-through. b
