About 1800 hrs yesterday I was perched on the porch, idly staring  at a patch of blue sky due south while waiting for a cool breeze. Suddenly I noticed black origami figures filtering across the blue space. I hollered for an attendant house brat to bring my binos, and she was able to tear herself away from the air cooler and computer long enough to fetch forth the required optics. I watched for about 90 seconds until old Thor drew his thunder curtains across and cut off my view. At a conservative estimate I believe the flock was in excess of 100. They appeared to be heading south-west.
