Observation - 1 -- Cohabiting. Fairy martin nests being used by Sparrows for roosting(& breeding?), even while some nests still have young Fairy martins being reared. Many F/martins about & numerous Sparrows. Central Victoria.
                             Photo 1 -- sparrow.
                             Photo 2 -- young martins.
2 -- "Thump" against window this a.m. while having breakfast. Didn't see any bird. Then saw one of our "pet" Cunningham skinks with a mouth full; brown Superb fairy wren. Perhaps I should put a Warning Sign next to this observation as Denis Wilson has with his dead button-quail! Surely Canberra birdos are not that squeamish??
Photo 3 -- sink with wren.

Steve.
