The enclosed Pic was taken in our garden at Jerrabomberra.
I believe the “Eastern” to be a hybrid. My reasons are that the
bird was part of a group of Crimsons that hung around here for some time. It
also appeared larger than an Eastern and its cheek patches were distinctly
bluish. Have I got this right? Happy for any views.
