We should keep in mind that this chat line is also a
forum for discussion. The fact that one does not agree with a contribution does
not mean that one would do so with all that person's comments in future. In fact
the piece(s) may make a contribution that actually could be most valuable to
readers.
Despite being a viable option, blocking certain names can
mean missing out much. I still prefer to read all messages, but I just keep some
for a bit longer, and quickly delete others which are not of interest to me.
Each person has a given style, some more factual,
others more expansive, others may
ride a certain ?hobby horse?. Nevertheless, all are part of the wide interests,
knowledge, skills and personalities of the COG membership. Vive La Différence!

from Harvard, and don the old flack jacket.
