Firstly I want to thank Sandra Henderson for sharing her knowledge with us and showing us the most interesting parts of Callum Brae.  In particular I want to thank her for drawing to my attention a little spot at the bottom end of middle creek.  I visited that spot this morning and managed to get photos of three species of birds that have been dodging me for a long time.

Also, it seems the Callum Brae brown goshawk kids are well and truly growing up.  This fellow visited the spot where I was and stayed for about ten minutes until the willie wagtails, black-faced cuckoo-shrikes, dusky woodswallows and crimson parrots collectively drove it away back towards its home ground on the South side.  Later, however, it was back again, flying over the farm paddock behind me.

And thank you, Geoffrey for showing me that a small file can be big enough as long as it is low enough resolution.
