Bill lifted the plastic sheet where we keep garden refuse to take to
the dump, today, and disturbed a centipede. He said that it was
about 20 cms long. He rushed off to find something with which to
kill it (should he have done that? killed it, I mean) and in the
meantime, it had disappeared. So it is still in the garden.
We also have at least one resident blue tongued lizard which has been
around for a year or two. Not in the same class as a centipede. We
think that it had babies this year.
