On the left is the often-mentioned WTE nest at Wanniassa Hills, photographed today from the Farrer side of Erindale Drive from a distance of a few hundred metres.  Foliage growth prevents a view from the Fadden side, and it is unwise to attempt to approach the nest from that side as this will only alarm the adults.  Birds regularly seen over Isaacs Ridge and Farrer/Fadden are probably associated with this nest.  This nest is huge and sprawling, having been built up over several years.  On the right is the much smaller and newer nest at Mount Mugga last Spring, not used this year.  The single young shown in each photo are at about the same stage of development.
