By way of coincidence, the Wednesday Walkers saw Crested Shrike-tits on a nest at the Hall TSR this morning.  Very special!

One pleasing sighting (and hearing) was a pair of shrike-tits.  In my experience these have been rather scarce lately, but going by the pattern of occurrence over previous years I think they’ve probably been thereabouts in each past year and in all seasons, even if not always picked up  -  by me anyway.  The 2 left-hand snaps are the female (olive bib).
