I had a good couple of hours there today.  2 sets of Black Swan families.... 1 with 3 almost adult and 1 with 6 very new chicks.
2 families (or creches) Pacific Black Ducks - 1 with 10, the other with 8.
Several families of A Coote.  One family had 4 fairly big chicks and one very small.  Is this common?
10 Shoveller ducks with 1 Hard head in the middle of them.  At least, I think they were Shovellers.  Would someone please confirm (or otherwise) from photo.  Thanks.
A darter went to climb onto a reedy mound and 2 Coote chicks scampered out.  The parents then attacked the darter.  Too much grass to get a photo.  It was quite dramatic. Cootes 1 Darter 0!!
No Musk ducks today.

Several Welcome swallows. Lots of Maggies.
