I forgot to mention Leaden Flycatchers nesting, first time I’ve seen them here. They were giving the Goshawk a very hard time while it sat in their tree readying to attack me. A couple of times they actually hit the preoccupied Goshawk causing it to fly off. Also a pair of S Kingfishers in the same area they nested last year.

Sittellas, Aus Grebes, Red-rumped Parrots, the stroppy Goshawks, Yellow-rumped Thornbills, Striated Pardalotes, C Rosellas, Willies all nesting. Dusky Woodswallows, Dollarbirds and several others looked as though they were thinking about it. Two White-winged Trillers were my first for the year. The swooping Goshawk seems even less tolerant this year and flies closer and louder than I remember, it has such a large exclusion zone I didn’t sight its nest.
