The weather forecast for next Wednesday looks quite good and the way everything has drained off here the low level crossings should be OK. So we go ahead as planned, aiming to DEPART Stromlo Forest Park on Urriarra Rd at 9am. As previously suggested we will go straight to Cavan TSR and then visit The Mullion TSR and Tinkers Creek TSR on the way back. We may also stop for a 20 minute snuffle at the intersection of Fairlight and Mtn Creek Roads. I would draw folks attention to the word 'Creek' in the name of the last reserve. The other two include drainage lines and we have had 100mm of rain in the last week. Be prepared for some sogginess although we will try to stick to the more arid areas. Martin |
