We have been getting these over several years. I thought we believe they
are wild birds. I don't think they are a regular in captivity.

At about 5.15 pm today - a juvenile sitting quietly in a eucalypt
bordering the footpath near the southern end of Pt Hut Pond.
The Annual Bird Report classifies this species as a Rare Visitor in the
ACT but we (Esme and I) saw nothing that would allow us to determine if
this individual was a genuine wild bird or possibly an aviary escape.
