After the mid-week walk I wandered down to the Tuggeranong Town Centre to search for Swift Parrots. Largely thanks to meeting Alberta a juvenile Swift Parrot was eventually spotted, sitting fairly high up and preening itself. We also found the first Noisy Friarbird I have seen this season: it was a particularly showy bird. Finally, one magpie-lark on a nest. Martin |
