Hi
Muriel,
I
don't know the Dusky Robin but I think it is a Flame Robin. It appears not dark
enough and with the amount of white on the tail. My attempts to identify the
Dusky Robin in Tas, were mostly Flame Robins.

This photo was taken on Bruny Island in the second half of July. It's proving a bit of a puzzle. It seems most likely to be a Dusky Robin but doesn't quite correspond with the field guides or HANZAB. All suggestions welcome, Muriel Edwards |
