Was able to take a quick walk on the lower slopes of Mt Taylor NR around midday and was delighted to see a mixed-flock of between 20 and 30 White-naped Honeyeater and Yellow-faced Honeyeater taking advantage of what was on offer in a large flowering Red Box. Also saw a male Mistletoebird in the same tree. Seen later on amongst these same species of honeyeaters were a few Fuscous Honeyeater and a White-eared Honeyeater, with a female Scarlet Robin nearby. A nice time of year, with snow visible on the Brindabella Range and at foot the emerging flowers of Cryptandra amara, Leucopogon virgatus and Hovea linearis.
