I reported to
this line on 24 March, seeing, most likely the same pair, at the top of
another building about 100 metres away from Rydges. Sightings of single birds
were not uncommon in the area for quite a long time. I would think they have not
nested before there or they would be well known to us, unless they are
particularly quiet. Maybe at the tops of buildings they do not make a lot of
noise audible to people down below.
