Hello all;

Had a great day yesterday on the South Coast. Seawatching from said location produced ~40 Black-browed Albatross feeding offshore, 1 Shy (cauta?) Albatroos and 1 Brown Skua. Supporting cast included 3 White-bellied Sea Eagles, 1 Peregrine Falcon, 5 very noisy and aggressive Sooty Oystercatchers, Australian Gannets, Silver Gulls, Greater Crested Terns and 6-7 spectacular Humpback Whales...tale fluking, pectoral fin slapping and all. No breaching unfortunately but I am not complaining ;).

In case you are wondering the sea bird were identifiable 300-500 meters with bins from the shore there were many more further away that I couldn't id.

Cheers,

D.
