This morning I was dropped off at the junction of Captains Flat Rd and Douglas Close (for those with long memories that is where the shop used to be). As Frances drove she disturbed a flock of at least 25 Gang-gangs from a small eucalypt on the far side of the road. That is the largest flock I have seen this year and the largest in the area other than those gorging themselves on Hawthorn berries in 2009.
