I cycle home along there around sunset, and have been seeing and hearing groups of between a dozen and 20 most evenings, but nothing approaching the number you saw. When I see them they're usually a few hundred metres downstream of Scrivener Dam and flying across the river from the West into the grounds of the horse-riding establishment.

Hello everyone,

I was amazed to see a flock of 150+ YTBC pass overhead as I cycled home along
the Molonglo River this evening at dusk. The main flock was approximately 100
birds strong and they were followed by stragglers in small groups of 5 to 10
birds.

The flock was flying east from the Deeks Forest area towards Yarralumla; I have
heard YTBC from that direction both mornings and evenings as I bike along the
path. There seems to be a pine forest in that area - is this where they're
heading? Has anyone else spotted them?
