Serendipitous sighting from above from my terrace, at 8 paces,without binoculars on Monday before wet weather set in.  Bird smaller than and in company of Eastern Spinebills.

 

Salient features of this delicately defined bird were the very sharp contrast between its black mask and bright yellow throat and the bright pointed ear tufts. 

 

I feel awed and very lucky to have seen this bird.  I keep looking for more of it but no luck so far.
