We took a very pleasant stroll along the back part of Cooleman Ridge mid Sunday pm. 2 pairs of Scarlet Robins, guys in all their glory (where the path narrows through the open gate) along with lots of Y-R and B-R Thornbills and a Weebill as well as the ever-reliable SFWrens. A young Golden Whistler, 2 European Goldfinches, 2 Grey Fantails, another Scarlet Robin and a family of Wood Ducks with 7 very young ducklings in tow were around and on the shallow dam on the far southern side. Then overhead a Little Eagle flying west.
It was very quiet around the first dam at the beginning of the walk.
