Without rechecking
references, it is the considered belief that the Silvereyes that typically look
like the one you have in that photo, are winter migrants from
Tasmania.

am wondering if this silvereye shot at Namadgi Visitors’ Centre this morning may
be a winter migrant from Tasmania.
I have other shots that were either underexposed, or the flanks of the
bird were in the shade in which the flanks look a much darker colour. However, I have chosen this one because
generally the whole bird matches what I thought I saw.
