Just back from Midway Atoll, a long way from anywhere but worth it. 1plus million Laysan, 50,000 Black-Footed and even one Short-Tailed Albatross. Bristle-Thighed Curlews, Bonin Petrels, Laysan Ducks, Frigates, Boobies etc. and Canaries, introduced but thriving! Also Spinner Dolphins, Green Turtles and Hawaiian Monk Seals.
