I spent a while out at Newline Paddocks this morning where the highlight was  flock of about 30 Dusky Woodswallows.  The started off in the NW corner (M14) of the main paddock spending a lot of time looking adorable sitting on bare branches.  About an hour later a swarm of flying insects must have arrived over the larger part of the paddock as all those I had seen earlier, plus a few, arrived in N14 for a swirling, high-level feast.

No Brown Treecreepers, Southern Whitefaces, Peaceful Doves nor Crested Shrike-tit were  located.  It is hard to complain however when Crimson Rosellas and Red-rumped Parrots are flashing around!
